Signature DropShop was founded by Ben Jenkins and Alek Giotopoulos Moore, two former teammates at Prolific Prep — the #1 ranked team in America. Playing alongside athletes like Adem Bona, Yves Missi, Dior Johnson, and Mike Nwoko, they witnessed firsthand how elite athletes built personal brands and earned real money from NIL through merchandise and brand partnerships.
Their first athlete was their former teammate Mike Nwoko. They launched his first shirt, which generated 28 sales. From there, they expanded into hoodies, crewnecks, and now offer 100+ different products for athletes to sell and earn from. Today, Mike Nwoko plays for LSU and is on track to make it to the NBA.
The platform has grown from 3,000+ athletes in Year 1, to 5,000+ in Year 2, to 23,884+ athletes today. They are now expanding internationally — launching in France and Japan, and partnering with major agencies and teams.
